Tatts Finke Desert Race

Considered one of the biggest sporting events of the year, the Tatts Finke Desert Race is an off-road, multi-terrain race for bikes, cars, buggies, and quads through the desert country from Alice Springs to the small Aputula (Finke) community.

Held each year on the Queen’s Birthday June long weekend, “Finke” has the reputation of being one of the most difficult off-road courses in one of the most remote places in the world. Finke is a unique and fun experience for both competitors and spectators and is sure to get your heart racing.
The premier racing event attracts entrants from all over Australia and the world, including world-class Australian off-road and enduro motorcycle racer, Toby Price, who has won the race five times. This iconic event spans 3 days and involves 650 bikes & quads and 150 buggies & trophy trucks.
